4 months have passed since the last update, and I apologize for the delay.
Usually I publish one major update per month or every two months on average.
However these last months have not been like the others, for those who follow me on Twitter or who are on the Discord server, as you already know, I've moved to another country. that is why the development of City Game Studio slowed down.

I already have Game Dev Tycoon, Mad Games Tycoon, and Game Corp DX. I added this one to my wishlist. Maybe it'll claim the top spot from MGT. (I flip flop between GDT and MGT). Today we are checking out City Game Studio, which is a game about developing and selling games. Currently in early access this game shows great promise. #CityGameStudio #TycoonGames #skittza. I need a game that you can leave on for some time without paying too much attention and you won't be 'Game Over'. I like Tycoon/Management games and I think there might be some that would work. As an example, RCT2, you could setup a few rides, let it run, accumulate money, once in a while jump back, build a few more, attend the peeps needs. In my opinion, Game Dev Tycoon is the approach for the more casual player. Also in my opinion Mad Games Tycoon sucks. Game Dev Studio is my favorite with the features and I would definitely love a mobile version like GDT.

The good news is that I was able to resume the development. Well it's end-of July already, and as promised here is the 0.31.0 update. So today on the menu we have..

Negotiating with the manufacturers


Previously unlocking a game console was straightforward. Simply click on the console and it was all done. From now on, you'll have to negotiate with the manufacturer. The more you work with a manufacturer, the easier the negotiations will be. Of course, the opposite is also true.

The crash of 1983

Now you can start porting a non-released game. However, you can develop game port only for ready games.

As you can see, there is an update per month on average. I want to keep it that way because it is easier to me to balance and test the game between 2 updates.
